• The Role We are looking for backend engineers to build the core systems behind BJAK's AI Finance Agent
• This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users
• What You'll Own Build backend services, APIs and workflows for the AI Neobank app
• Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel and financial services
• Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications and operations
• Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly
• Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers and other partners
• Improve system reliability, observability, security and performance
• Build systems that are practical, auditable and ready for regulated financial products
• What We're Looking For 3+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging
• Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems
• Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases
• Able to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality and risk
• Comfortable working with product, mobile, operations and business teams
• Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking or regulated products is a strong advantage
