Senior QA Automation Specialist - Selenium - Full Remote

Category: IT Services Location: Fort Western Province Sri Lanka For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE Senior QA Automation Specialist with hands-on Selenium, .NET, and Angular experience. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term.

This position is open for freelancers and employees. Candidates need to be able to work 2-3 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. (Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM.) The applicant should be an experienced Quality Assurance Automation expert with a history of working in an agile environment.

Candidates must have hands-on experience working with .NET, Angular, MS SQL in teams building large consumer-facing web applications from the ground up. Tasks and deliverables Work within an agile team to ensure the quality of complex .NET based multilingual applications; Develop, modify, and execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs for systems in development; Work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively; Create test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium WebDriver; Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools; Perform load testing using a variety of tools as per industry standards and suggest solutions for performance issues; Perform Mobile application testing and enable automation for various devices, platforms/environments as needed; Record defect details and create reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve them and update the regression test framework; Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint; Profile 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for complex web application platforms; Experience designing, developing, managing, and executing test cases, preferably using QA management tools; Exposure to testing multilingual applications; Proven experience with test automation using Selenium and the ability to write scripts and perform API testing; Experience with JMeter, BlazeMeter; Experience with security testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and load testing; Mobile application testing, browser compatibility, and accessibility testing experience; Experience with identifying, analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results; Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines; Good interpersonal skills to work with developers in an agile environment; Experience with MS Teams and SharePoint documentation is a plus; English language proficiency (oral and written); Offered: A challenging role for an international organization in New York; Attractive salary package; Interested: If you have the determination for a rewarding career, please send your CV to us via or call us on +94 114312515 for more information.
