This role is G3 Remote position. This role is part of the PL UW Strategy and Enablement Team and will serve as an individual contributor responsible for end-to-end execution and ongoing support of workflow automation for PL Underwriting, using automation to enable underwriting strategy and expand capacity and efficiencies for PL Field Underwriting through the identification of high-value opportunities, consultation with business partners, and the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, reporting, and transition of selected solutions into IT-supported capabilities when needed.
Responsibilities
Lead and support end-to-end workflow automation efforts for PL Underwriting, including opportunity intake, solution design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of automation solutions. Consult with business partners to identify high-value automation opportunities, clarify business
requirements
, and translate operational needs into scalable solutions. Develop and manage Power Automate workflows and related tools that improve speed, accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in policy actions, documentation, and operational processes. Partner across underwriting strategy, product, field underwriting, and operations to ensure automation work is aligned to business priorities and integrated into broader process improvement efforts.
Maintain ownership of reporting, dashboarding, and realized-benefit tracking to demonstrate business value, support prioritization, and inform leadership decisions. Support ongoing operational needs through rapid-turn automation requests, proofs of concept, and targeted solutions that address business issues with speed and precision. Proactively identify and advance new automation and AI-enabled opportunities that expand team capacity, reduce manual effort, and improve how work is delivered across underwriting support.
Provide sustained ownership and continuity for a growing automation function that requires deeper business integration, long-term accountability, and preservation of institutional knowledge. Support adjacent team capabilities, including process excellence activities and work intake coordination, to help maintain a strong pipeline of automation work and business partnership. Project Management of automation workflows that transition from Power Automate to IT-supported capabilities.
