Job Summary We are seeking a VMware Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise VMware virtualization and cloud infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Tanzu, and automation , with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and infrastructure reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
- Administer Tanzu Kubernetes Grid , VMware Aria Automation/vRealize, and NSX-T networking
- Implement disaster recovery using Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and replication technologies
- Automate VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO)
- Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and security while supporting upgrades and lifecycle management
- Integrate VMware platforms with VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), or Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
- Troubleshoot complex compute, storage, and networking issues and maintain technical documentation
- Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of VMware platform engineering experience
- Strong expertise with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX-T
- Experience with PowerCLI , infrastructure automation, and VMware container platforms (Tanzu)
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, SRM, and hybrid cloud VMware solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
- Preferred Qualifications VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP certification
- Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE
- Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Aria Operations/vRealize Operations
- Experience with VMware migration or modernization initiatives
