Job Description
- Manage civil litigation cases from initial evaluation through resolution
- Take plaintiff depositions and conduct meaningful discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents
- Develop effective case strategies and collaborate with experienced attorneys
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Prepare cases for trial and contribute to successful litigation outcomes
- Communicate with clients and help deliver practical, results-driven legal solutions
- Qualifications Active California State Bar membership required
- 1+ years of civil litigation experience preferred; qualified candidates with slightly less experience will be considered
- Experience taking plaintiff depositions and handling written discovery required
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and case management skills
- Insurance defense, personal injury defense, or general liability experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel when needed
